Webcamo is a "sex" site that is free for women and paid for men. If you are single, you will be offered to buy passes to watch. If you are in a relationship, it can either destroy it or spice it up.
Kezi
... it's only free for women and not men, why not?

Big, mega scam... Everything is designed to make guys pay, making them believe there are plenty of girls online...
Here's how it goes: 1st registration = free. Barely signed up, you're in a room with a pretty girl on cam.
Me: "Hello"
Her: "Do you come here often?"
Already, it’s not starting well... it smells like software with a recorded video since the response doesn’t match my sentence
Let's continue...
Me: "I just logged in"
Her: "I’m going to give up on Meetic, it’s way better here"
Me: "Can you please tell me the time" (best way to know if you have a human in front of you...)
And then, boom: to continue the discussion, you have to pay!!!
So a little test, which I invite you to do if you have 17 euros to waste. You sign up for a week (beware, it’s auto-renewing, you need to cancel, otherwise...)
So I pay, although I’m starting to seriously think it’s a big scam...
Anyway, I now have an account and I log in...
Strangely, suddenly, the ladies are much less eager to connect and talk to you. After 15 minutes, ta-da... a connection... wohoooo
Except the girl on video couldn’t care less about the discussion and seems very busy doing something else at the same time... In fact, she's always typing on her keyboard... but nothing shows up on your side. And strangely, the reaction when you tell her she’s a host is very weird... Like the text has been well memorized.
Anyway, apart from a few couples occasionally showing off, there’s nothing interesting on this site. Especially not ladies looking for adventures or a partner.
Funnier, the guys pretending to be ladies or couples, looking for other couples to have fun... and playing recorded videos...
In short, no need to waste your time on this site.

The problem with webcamo is that it is paid for men and free for women, so many men connect under female pseudonyms and you can't tell who's who anymore. Moreover, most are not there for dating but for exhibitionism and voyeurism.
For the past few months, this has increased; before, for a premium call, you had access to 12 hours of connection, now it's two hours.

Hello Laurence,
I know webcamo and I only have negative thoughts about it :-)
Having spent some time on it and analyzed a lot of things, I can give you a non-exhaustive list:
- Paid (expensive) for men / free for women
[treating people based on their gender M/F disgusts me... but women don't seem to be more shocked when it comes to benefiting from a free service, lol... so let's move on from this point..]
- Not nice
[this point is debatable, but just arriving at the homepage, you quickly notice that the design and comfort leave much to be desired... anyway... it's important to me and can say a lot about a site and its administration...]
- Lots of bugs
[the connection that drops once established with a interlocutor... that's really unfortunate... since the goal is to make connections... it becomes complicated right away, lol ]
- IMPOSSIBLE to contact
[And this is absolutely crazy, on average the connection time needed to get a response to a simple "hello" is 1h30.... sometimes even more.... if the message isn't directly deleted by the person who doesn't even take the time to respond.... do you know many sites where when you want to communicate with someone it's...radio silence? Not me]
- Tedious connection
[the interface is super poorly designed and it often happens that when the site is very very very very crowded (around 200 people online... lol), you simply have no access to the rooms and thus have to wait... wait.... wait... and BAM no more data plan, LOL it's pretty well done]
- Fake or off-topic videos
[most videos, if they are not cheap streams from cam4 or the like, don't work, and likewise, in 2012 I can count on my fingers how many people don’t have webcams... but on webcamo there are thousands...????!!!!!]
- Spams
[automated messages are sent to your webcamo account inbox (also redirected to your email)... as a man, when you receive this, it's a way to encourage you to pay and thus credit your account to read a message with barely a subject/verb/complement somewhat correctly conjugated... it's pathetic... and some even respond to bots....]
- Misleading advertising
[the site presents itself as a dating site, however, you've read some feedback, it's a site for voyeurs and exhibitionists... it's normal, that's how it is on the internet, not to mention the fact that it is prohibited to advertise or disclose your msn address for example, but a few connections on the site allow you to realize that everyone is doing their little personal advertising for their site/blog etc... and that people naturally exchange their emails openly...]
- Data deletion
[I found my account deleted overnight without even receiving an email to warn me.... and of course without any apparent reasons... well, on this point we could collectively agree that a trainee did a rm * of users in the wrong table, but it’s mind-blowing]
- Message deletion
[same, I saw the rare messages I had received deleted.... it's insane!!! So how do you get to know each other and/or keep in touch???]
- Disappearance of contacts
[Now this is a funnier problem... once you have spent your 500/800 or 1000 euros... to make 2 or 3 contacts.... (yeah, you spend several months there so it’s expensive) you’re happy.. and then those same contacts disappear overnight.... I don't know about you, but when someone disappears, it makes me sad, although I hope these people are still alive, I don’t understand the difficulty of saying "leave me alone, you annoy me" or "sorry, I'm no longer interested"]
etc....etc.....
I realize that my mini exhaustive list is turning into a novel and I'm far from done, but like my buddies, I will finish by saying that on average out of 100 users, there are 80 or 85 men.... the rest are not women, but bots or ghosts; sometimes ONE woman logs in and then... it's war... with a competition of beautiful intellectual phrases... and poetry of all kinds... if she has the cam and the mic because again.... what time is it? lol
ps: oh yes, I almost forgot to say that in the end, I managed to chat a bit with a woman from Tahiti (French Polynesia, so 20000km from Paris lol), a woman from New Caledonia (22500km), and a woman from Guadeloupe...... but never one from my region, namely: Île-de-France !!!!
Well, good luck to you Laurence ^^
Best regards,
Marvin.
