Bonjour,
depuis quelques temps je recherche de l'info sur la 9800gt et je voudrais savoir si je vais avoir des problemes de surchauffes avec la 9800gt, je ne veux pas overclock, seulement pluggé et joué,je vais utilliser le evga precision pour ajuster la fan de la carte, mais je ne sais pas cest quoi les bonnes puissances. jai un dell inspiron 530 stock une fan 90mm et un power supply 350 watt, en effet je devrai changer le power supply; est ce que la fan du power supply fait une différence?
jai vraiment peur d'acheter la carte et que ca ne fonctionne pas!! a cause de la ventilation

As any other ventilateur-control software, eVga Precision will most likely allow you to select your ventilo speed from 0 to 100%. So, there is no risk that you select a wrong value. In the worst case, if you completely stop your ventilateur, the 9800gt should go to security-mode and simply crash, without melting. Anyway, I would recommand that you let the nVidia driver control the ventilateur speed : it has a good compromise between temperature and noise.
The problem with your alimentation will not be the size of its ventilarteur but the puissance it will be able to deliver : 350W for a whole gaming system is quite low. You should choose a 450 ou 500W alimentation, with or without a big ventilo : it is not that important if you are not doing surcadençage, as long as your PC is well aéré.
PS : my massive using of french words in an english text is as funny as your massive using of english words if a french text, don't you think so ? :-)

so... with the new psu, my stock ventilation system with the gpu fan adjustment will be ok?
i do have some air holes on the bottom left side of my tower lol
