Hello,
What is the difference between ACER and DATA?
What happens if you copy Acer(C:) into Data(D:)?
Can you reformat Acer after copying it to Data? ... and what will happen at startup?
Will all the folders in Acer be lost or damaged?
Can the computer function without Acer?
Thank you for the novice that I am, but I'm trying to learn...

Hi,
You only see the ACER and DATA partitions, but there is actually a hidden PQSERVICE partition that is used to restore Windows and the software as if you just bought the PC.
During this reinstallation, the data present in the DATA partition is not deleted. -
Look for the Acer eRecovery software on your PC.

You will be able to burn your Acer DVDs.

Hello nano30,
A little gift: http://ftp.support.acer-euro.com/...
If you need information, I have ACER too.
See you! -

OK, no problem, for your initial question, D:Acer Data is a storage (or backup) partition for everything you want to keep, such as documents, photos, or videos; it keeps them safer in case of infection and is untouched in case you need to reinstall your system with eRecovery.

If your administrator forbids you, do nothing.
