Text clarity issue on television

Hello,
The picture quality of my TV is excellent. EXCEPT: The messages displayed at the bottom of my television screen are blurry! And when the text is removed to be replaced by another, it appears sharp for ¼ of a second. (Foreign films with subtitles should be avoided)
I deduce that there is a problem with the focus of the depth of field of the displayed texts!
Is there a specific setting for this?

    AKAI 55CM CT3135F color TV (about 10 years old) = very satisfactory image
    Used with TNT decoder

    The tube may be tired.
    Have you tried using a TNT adapter?

    Yes, I use the TNT with this set.
    It's still odd to have an excellent image except for the focus on the writing?

    Some TNT adapters have small gadgets to modify the presentation of subtitles.

    Some receivers have the option to change the color of the subtitles to better distinguish them from the background. If yours doesn't have this option, your current setting is probably sufficient.

    Hello Stewartia,

    Satisfactory correction!
    The setting has been made on TNT (brand: ATLANTA ref. DTT551)

    Remote control:
    • MENU
    • Personal style
    • Transparency level 1
    The transparency level adjustment range is: 1 to 8.
    The setting was on: 3 = crazy texts.
    At 8 = very blurry, almost unreadable.
    I set it to 1 = the quality of the text is now satisfactory.
