Hello,
I installed Open Office on my computer. The other day, I wanted to save a document on my USB stick, but it told me it's write-protected. What should I do? Is it a problem with the extension? Thank you for your help.
Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 7.0

Thank you for your advice, but how do I format the key? Moreover, the properties of my key mention a FAT format.

    Hello,
Check the file properties (right click > properties) to see if it is read-only (in the Attributes at the bottom of the window).

Right-click on your drive, then format it; I believe you have to format it as NTFS, at least if you're on XP or Vista, then check the quick format box.

No, it is not a problem with the extension.
The best thing to do is to test if another non-Open Office file can be saved on your key; otherwise, the problem will be the key itself. If it works, then try another Open Office file to compare.
