You can check this site https://didjet.wordpress.com/2010/06/16/comment-calculer-sa-consommation-de-donnees/
with 200 MB you can already "send/receive 150 emails with attachments, browse more than 400 web pages, post 50 photos on social media sites, and watch 20 minutes of videos" each month via a 3G connection.
that's it

I just subscribed to a new plan with internet blocked as soon as I reach 500MB (internet), which is equivalent to 20 hours if I understood what the lady told me correctly! lol
That means you are limited to 500MB of browsing; to give you an idea, a complete web page is approximately 69,000 bytes.
I was sold the unlimited plan too, I signed up for the Origami style, and failed to read the contract (5 pages in tiny print).
I installed Orange Maps and tested it on the Annecy to Paris round trip. Result: 450 MB used. I now no longer have access to the web, to GPS... until August 10th. We're supposed to have unlimited data up to 500 MB!
I can get access again if I change to the Origami Star plan, but it won't take effect until the billing date: August 10th. And the price is different, €55 instead of €39 per month.
Conclusion: I have no trust in Orange, and I’m going to buy myself a real GPS.
Moral: I stick to my principle of separating functions: a camera for taking pictures, a GPS for navigation, a phone for calling, not a device that's supposed to do it all but ends up doing nothing.

you have a fair usage of 500 MB (that is, you have 500 MB for a so-called "reasonable" use, where you can fully enjoy the speed to connect, and beyond that, the operator may reduce the speed: if you are just browsing the internet, it won't be a problem, but you will have a harder time watching a video or sending an email with an attachment as it will be slower)
a bit = a binary position of 1 or 0;
8 bits = 8 consecutive binary positions of 1 or 0, called 1 byte or octet in French.
1 Ko = 1 Kilo byte = 1024 bytes (1024*8 bits)
1 Mo = 1 Mega byte = 1024 Ko = 1024 * 1024 bytes
1 Go = 1 Giga byte = 1024 Mo = 1024 * 1024 * 1024 bytes
1 To = 1 Tera byte = 1024 Go = 1024 * 1024 * 1024 * 1024 bytes
...is that okay? Is it getting clearer?
Note that commercial products like hard drives, etc., are expressed in Gb ...which is nothing more than a unit invented to sound bigger!! Indeed, instead of dividing the number of bytes by 1024 every time, they only divide by 1000 each time; obviously, this explains why when you buy a 500 Gb hard drive, once formatted it only shows 465 Go ...it's a scam, you're right, but that's how it is...!
because ((500,000,000,000 / 1024) / 1024) / 1024 = 465.661287 ...next time we'll talk about watts for speakers, that's funny too ...or inches for screens! .... they've even invented stupid new units without basis like pmpo watts for example ...!! what wouldn't they do to sell more! ...turn off your TV... ;)

Hello, what do CAR, SwisscomHospitality, TMobileEU, We Roam correspond to?
What are they for? Thank you.
What are they for? Thank you.
There isn't anyone who really knows how many hours 500MB corresponds to because there are plenty of different versions, so can someone tell me how many hours of video on YouTube and browsing the internet that is, please? Thank you.
500 megabytes does not correspond to a number of hours spent online but to a volume of data that can be consumed.
500 megabytes allows for browsing approximately 7000 web pages.
caution!!!! without videos, music, TV, or downloaded files; otherwise, the 500 megabytes will disappear like snow in the sun.
best regards.

500 MB may seem like a lot of SMS, but when it comes to GPS Orange Maps, that's a round trip from Valencia to Paris! And then what?
I hadn't read the fine print of the contract, quickly signed on a table corner, relying on the sales representative from France Telecom. Unlimited time, yes, but not unlimited download volume.
To this question, France Telecom is very clear: after that, you're out of luck; it stops. The solution is then to choose a plan for €55 instead of €39!
€16 x 12 = €192. So I went and bought a real GPS.
Bye Bye France Telecom.

With a smartphone, you also have the option to connect to the internet via Wi-Fi hotspots when you are nearby and they are open access and therefore free, which helps limit your usage of a paid plan.
Hello, is it: 150 emails + 400 pages + 50 photos + 20 minutes of videos
or is it:
150 emails or 400 pages or....
Thank you in advance
