Hello,
Could someone tell me how I can connect a small spotlight with 2 wires (no ground) to the electrical supply that has 3 wires including the ground?
Should the ground wire be connected to one of the 2 wires (and if so, which one)?
Currently, if I only connect the 2 wires, it doesn't work.
Thank you.

Hello
What type of spot is it??? What kind of base??
Give the specifications marked on the bulb
But as mentioned above... if it is indeed a spotlight that connects directly to 220V.. the two wires are sufficient and the ground is not necessarily useful (except to connect the spotlight's support).
On the other hand, if it is a low voltage spotlight....(12V) that you have connected to the mains, it probably lit up briefly, but it is now definitely dead..

Very difficult to catch a black cat in a dark room
Especially when it’s not there...!!!!
