Hello everyone,
The drawer of my Philips DVD640 home theater player won't open, despite pressing the "OPEN/EJECT" button. You can hear a noise, but the drawer remains frustratingly closed. Has anyone encountered this kind of problem before? Any help would be appreciated.

Hello, under the device on the right front side, there is a small gap. Use a screwdriver to pierce the paper membrane, gently insert the screwdriver and slide it outwards; the drawer will reopen. Note: before the intervention, unplug your device. (this maneuver is if the device is no longer under warranty) Good luck.
