Inverted Mouse! Solved

Question

Hello,

I have a problem with my laptop, specifically with my mouse. When I try to move to the right side of the screen with my mouse, it goes to the left and vice versa. It's the same when I try to move down the screen; it goes up.
Can someone explain how to fix this issue?
I should note that I haven't downloaded any software recently.

Configuration: Windows XP Firefox 3.0.5

Hello, I had the same problem, I went to the trust website, (trust.com/18519) for my mouse. I checked the FAQ and it offers to download a file called mousse_fix_software.rar.

Extract the file and click on MS_Fix2 software "WARNING THE USB FOR MUST NOT BE CONNECTED"

Then connect the USB and it's fixed, everything is working normally for me.

Hi,

Check in Control Panel/System/Hardware tab/Device Manager if there’s any yellow ? indicating a problem.

If the mouse came with an installation disk, update the driver (but I don't think that's the issue as XP recognizes and installs this driver, but you never know).

There might be interference with the touchpad (the pad that replaces the mouse on laptops), but first, test or have your mouse tested on another computer.

I read your message, exactly the same problem, reversed mouse movement up and down and left and right. Did you find a solution? For me, it's on Windows Vista.

So for me, it was on my laptop, I looked into this with an IT technician and in my case it’s not the system, it’s my touchpad that has a problem (I think it’s when I gave my computer for repair for my right click and they messed up my touchpad...) so in the meantime I bought a little mouse that I carry with me.

Otherwise, the IT technician told me to check for viruses etc. because he had encountered a case where the screen got inverted due to a virus...

It probably doesn't help you much, but that's all the information I have.

In
control panel/system/hardware tab/device manager, uninstall the touchpad or the mouse, it will reinstall on startup. ;)
And normally, correctly. :P

Yop, sorry to bring this up again, but I'm having the same issue with my mouse that goes in the opposite direction of where I want to go, and it started happening after the restart :/

I downloaded the software and started it, but instead of rotating it 180°, it rotated 90°!!!! When my mouse goes up, the screen goes left, etc... please help me!!!!
