Automation Studio v5.5 or v5.6

Hello group,
here is my problem, I currently have Automation Studio v5.0.XXX PRO, but I did some research and realized that this version, and several others, are not compatible with VISTA. In fact, only versions 5.5 & 5.6 are. That’s one of the reasons why I still can’t create my own hydraulic distributors (valves). I have a window with an "X" in a box that appears when I click on the "Configurator" tab.

So my question is very simple... you probably see where I'm going...
Is there anyone who has a compatible version of Automation Studio with VISTA? Naturally, the full version and unlocked.

      Hi, have you found a solution to your problem? Because I have the same issue...
      I have Vista and I can't access my distributors' configurator, there's an X that keeps appearing...

      Hi Simon,
      unfortunately, I haven't found a solution to our problem, as the reason is that versions prior to 5.5 are not fully compatible with VISTA. This means we do not have access to all the options of the software, including the ability to configure the distributors.

      The solution is to find a version 5.5 or newer, which would allow access to all the functions.

      If you manage to get one, please let me know. I would also like to benefit from the software with the working applications.

      yes there is a solution
      install VirtualBox on Win 8 or 7 then install Win XP because version 5.0 cannot be configured on Win 7 or higher to avoid an X in the distributors' configuration

    try this: install javasun microsystem the latest version (1.8 I think)

    because know that the distributor configurator uses Internet Explorer and Java

    there you go!!
