How to convert MHz bus speed to bit/byte per

Does anybody know how to convert MHz bus speed to bits or bytes per second in order to determine i/o throughput rating of unix/linux servers. We’re trying to determine how many HBAs can be realistically supported in order to size a server.

    Which bus? HBA means?

    Bus clock speed (Hz) * Bus data witdth (b) = Bandwidth (b/s)
