Hello,
here's my problem. I currently have an HP Pavilion W5000 that dates back to around 2000-2001. For Christmas, I received a really great computer game: Sacred 2; however, it requires a minimum configuration that is well above that of my humble W5000.
Here are the specifications of my HP: a 994 MHz processor while my game needs 2.6 GHz
512 MB of RAM while my game requires 1 GB
and finally a very weak graphics card.
These are the main specifications that are causing me problems.
Hoping for a response, thank you for reading this post. Goodbye.

Hi,
I don't really see where we could help you. Besides changing the missing parts, there’s no other way to play your game. You might as well change your computer, in my opinion, that’s more cost-effective.
Because we can't upgrade the CPU power or increase your RAM, and the same goes for your graphics card, no software can do that.

Hello.
Thank you for this response that summarizes all the answers I will receive later ^^. Since changing computers is not on the agenda, I just have to go return it because my knowledge of hardware is not developed enough in this area (unless I'm taught that it’s child’s play, then...^^). That said, goodbye and happy holidays!
PS: You can close this post ^^.

We can't close a post, at least I can't ^^.
But you can set it to resolved, at the top of your post.

Otherwise, changing parts on your computer can be quite easy; the most delicate part is knowing what to replace and with what.
That is to say, above all, don't make a mistake in choosing the hardware.
A lot of people here can help you with that (choosing the right parts for your computer), but know that changing the processor, graphics card, and RAM can be quite costly.
If you're really determined, start a new post in the "hardware" section.
Alright, happy holidays to you too.
