GameBoy Emulator on Mac Closed

Question

Hello,
I have a Macbook and I would like to be able to play Pokémon Silver on a good emulator on my Mac.
You might say, "Google is your friend," but everything we find is in .exe or .rar format, in other words, only for Windows...
Maybe someone could help me? ^^

You need to download the games, then unzip them, and then you can play.

Indeed, mac-emu is a very good site... for the "roms" (the games), it is illegal to download them.

NO, it is not illegal for consoles or games that are no longer for sale, so the guy who wants Game Boy emulators can download them and the ROMs too ^^

To be legally compliant with ROMs, there are two important points:

1) If the console is still on the market, you must own the original game from which you download the ROM.

2) If the console is no longer on the market, the games must be in the public domain (I believe it's 10 years for the games), and then there's no need to own the games.

An emulator is never illegal; it’s the ROMs that can be. An emulator is a program created by someone who usually distributes it for free. The ROMs are merely ports of games released commercially by a private company that holds copyright on them.

The ROMs available online are created to work with the emulator... whether on Windows or on Mac ;)  There is no special Mac ROM...
