I had this problem, all my files were infected. EVERYTHING!!!
Honestly, I thought my computer would never turn back on xD.

I barely managed to remove it!

My computer is always lagging, I can't do anything, I don't know what to do... :(

relevantknowledge is indeed a virus. When I logged in, everything was fine until the icon in the shape of a planet appeared. When it appeared, my computer froze, and I could do nothing but move my mouse or, since I have Vista, I could press ctrl-alt-delete. I could log out, and when I did, everything returned to normal, but unfortunately, my session closed. The first icon to disappear was the small green planet (the one for relevant knowledge), so I played a trick on it to delete it.
I pressed log out, and Windows warned me that if I logged out without saving my projects, I could lose them... so I canceled because the icon had disappeared from the bottom, and that’s when I was able to access programs and features to delete it.
All this to say, be careful with relevantknowledge; it’s dangerous. And I still don’t know how it got in, but in my opinion, it took advantage of downloading some software or an update while you were open to downloading and slipped into your computer.

It is indeed a trojan, and removing it with the task manager is a decoy...
It is well hidden in the .dll files
It took registry edits and command lines in DOS to be able to get rid of this junk!

To remove Relevantknowledge, simply install the small free cleaner CCleaner, then open it and click on Tools. A list of all your programs will appear, including Relevantknowledge. Click on it to highlight it and then click on Remove at the top right, and it will disappear.

to remove it when Vista is frozen
restart the computer
press F8 and enter safe mode
then remove it in the control panel (add/remove programs)
it worked for me .....

I managed to delete it through the control panel, now it doesn't appear in the list of programs, but I'm not sure if it's gone from my PC. What do you think???

Hi, it's a virus that spreads through system files. Last year, I had this little planet show up with an ad that couldn't be closed, and luckily I was able to uninstall it thinking it was a toolbar software.
