Question

Hello, I would like to know what "relevantknowledge" is, please. I haven't installed it and yet it appears in the inactive icons bar... (?)... Thank you in advance.

You don't need to do all that to uninstall it. You just have to go to the control panel and to add/remove programs (under XP) or programs and features (under Vista), and uninstall it from there.

I've done it, thank you. I went to Add or Remove Programs, and then it said relevant knowledge so I deleted it and it's all good. Thank you very much, see you!

juxx if you ever come back to this forum:  I believe this software is installed with certain games (I think for example that's the case with Call Of Duty 4)

relevantknowledge is indeed a virus. When I logged in, everything was fine until the icon in the shape of a planet appeared. When it appeared, my computer froze, and I could do nothing but move my mouse or, since I have Vista, I could press ctrl-alt-delete. I could log out, and when I did, everything returned to normal, but unfortunately, my session closed. The first icon to disappear was the small green planet (the one for relevant knowledge), so I played a trick on it to delete it.
I pressed log out, and Windows warned me that if I logged out without saving my projects, I could lose them... so I canceled because the icon had disappeared from the bottom, and that’s when I was able to access programs and features to delete it.
All this to say, be careful with relevantknowledge; it’s dangerous. And I still don’t know how it got in, but in my opinion, it took advantage of downloading some software or an update while you were open to downloading and slipped into your computer.

pff a virus has fucked me  it's a program that Windows installed since your last update. From time to time, you will receive surveys.  but as for me, I uninstalled it lol  I don't care about that^^

It is indeed a trojan, and removing it with the task manager is a decoy... It is well hidden in the .dll files It took registry edits and command lines in DOS to be able to get rid of this junk!

Unbelievable, I just caught this piece of garbage while installing a video splitter downloaded from, specifically, telecharger.com.  The uninstall module doesn’t work. I’m trying to get rid of it with A-squared. Hoping to completely purge it.

To remove Relevantknowledge, simply install the small free cleaner CCleaner, then open it and click on Tools. A list of all your programs will appear, including Relevantknowledge. Click on it to highlight it and then click on Remove at the top right, and it will disappear.

to remove it when Vista is frozen restart the computer press F8 and enter safe mode then remove it in the control panel (add/remove programs) it worked for me .....

Relevantknowledge is a  virus; to remove it, download the MALWAREBYTES software. I've tested it, and it works fine. See the link https://www.malwarebytes.com/

I got this while installing IWEBCAMERA

It records all the sites we visit, it might be able to see what I'm typing and why not the webcam because I got it while installing my webcam.
It uses 3 times more RAM than my biggest software.
On the site, they don't say who they are

Hi, it's a virus that spreads through system files. Last year, I had this little planet show up with an ad that couldn't be closed, and luckily I was able to uninstall it thinking it was a toolbar software.
