ONKYO Remotes
Hello,
I have an ONKYO TX-SR309 amplifier and suddenly my remote control stopped working with the amplifier. It works perfectly well (red light with each button press, new batteries) and has no effect on the device which does not respond.... Could the problem be due to the receiver of the amplifier or a mistake on my part that might have blocked the transmission function of my remote control?
Thank you in advance
Best regards

Hello,
Surely the infrared receiver is faulty on the amp.

@cheval38No idea, you need to check with a quote from a repairman.

@MPMP10For my part, a big thank you to Youtube, I had the same problem and found the answer that I'm sharing with everyone:
Hold down the mode button, then "clear," and like magic, the remote works again!
Thank you for the YouTube tutorials, even though the answer was in the comments for my part! ???? :p -
@RoroSuper!!!! clear + mode, I hope the one who responded with nonsense about the IR sensor is ashamed :)

@PitGood evening to you too!
Does politeness mean anything to you?
As a reminder, we're not on a forum, so we make assumptions in some cases because we don't have the equipment on hand, and it would be wise to think a little before coming to criticize, for your information.
As for the rest, I will remain polite and won't stoop to your level.
