It's very difficult to catch a black cat in a dark room.
    Especially when it's not there...
    1. Thank you very much! It's much better than the manual provided by Satlink.
      I will find Astra 1!
    2. According to the notice, it's an obsolete pointer because DVB-S Mpeg 2 QPSK and all satellite TV will move to Mpeg 4, DVB-S2, 8 PSK starting July 1st, via Astra/Canalsat and April for Fransat (Eutelsat 5WA) and Tntsat.

Sorry, bad choice, yet CCM has issued numerous warnings about this evolution of standards and even proposed a small selection of possible choices in the field of DVB-S2 pointers or analyzers.

    3. @gilThank you. Can I use it to find Astra 1 by then?
    4. @gibou66Of course, as long as there is at least 1 transponder with SD-Mpeg 2 channels. A pointer for stationary and portable TV (camper) is not necessarily essential since all satellite terminals and satellite TVs have a signal indicator with integrated bar graphs, relative quality %, and level %.

(for your information, a DVB-S2 beep pointer costs around €70)
