How to read .MOD and .MOI extensions

Could you tell me how to read the MOD and MOI files from a camcorder
Configuration: Windows XP

    Hello,

    rename the extension from .mod to .avi or .mpg

    there you go

      Or even simpler, select the file, right-click and Open with / Choose another app / select your media player, and don't forget to check the box "always use this app to open this type of file" and confirm.
      It avoids renaming...

        THANK YOU a thousand times because I had the same problem: .MOD and .MOI files generated by a transfer from the Canon camcorder to my hard drive. Here are my results following your advice without renaming:
        QUICKTIME PLAYER = NO
        WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER = YES
        NERO MEDIA PLAYER = NO
        NERO SHOWTIME = YES
        REAL PLAYER = NO
        So once again, THANK YOU
