Impossible d'installé aucune installation

Bonjour,

Voilà, je suis arrivé sur GNU/Linux avec la distribution Ubuntu version 11.04 en 32 bits.
J'ai un gros souci, je ne peux en aucun cas installé quelque chose avec le terminal ou Synaptic, impossible de faire les mises à jours et même d'installé le pack linguistique français ; ce qui est extrèment génant.
Je suis actuellement derrière un proxy dans une université, j'ai bien une connexion internet active, j'y suis actuellement avec Firefox.

Pourriez-vous m'aider car après 4h de recherche sur Google et étant actuellement débutant, je vous demande de l'aide.

    J'ai bien changé avec le proxy de mon école mais sa ne fonctionne toujours pas.

        E: Le téléchargement de quelques fichiers d'index a échoué, ils ont été ignorés, ou les anciens ont été utilisés à la place.

        Donc la je suis trés perdu, et cela m'embète beaucoup car je ne peux toujours pas mettre Ubuntu en français, et ainsi installé des logiciels et faire les mises à jours.

        Que dois-je faire maintenant

          Les commande que j'ai donnée était des exemples.

          Tu dois remplacer proxy.cegep-fxg.qc.ca (qui est l'adresse du proxy de mon école) par celle de l'adresse du proxy de ton école.

        Bonjour,

        Nous aussi nous avons un proxy à l'école et c'est pas très productif dans certain cas je suis d'accord... :P

        Pour configurer le proxy dans synaptics tu peux aller dans les options de ce dernier, il y a une partie réseau ou tu pourras entrées les différentes informations pour passer le proxy.

        Sinon, pour le faire en ligne de commande et utiliser aptitude ou apt-get, tu dois lancer les commande suivante : 
        
export http_proxy="l'adresse-du-proxy:le-port"
export ftp_proxy="l'adresse-du-proxy:le-port"


        Exemple : 
        
export http_proxy="http://proxy.cegep-fxg.qc.ca:80"
export ftp_proxy="http://proxy.cege-fxg.qc.ca:80"


        Après ça devrait le faire.
