Hello,
I was wondering what NVIDIA PhysX is for because I don't like having unnecessary things, especially when I don't know what they are :).
Thank you.

Good evening

Definition given by N'Vidia :
Managing the physics of games is not simple. It relies on a unique set of algorithms that require enormous resources to perform the staggering amount of mathematical and logical calculations needed. This is where NVIDIA® PhysX™ technology and GeForce® processors come into play. NVIDIA PhysX is a powerful physics engine that enables real-time physical effects in the most advanced PC and console video games. The PhysX software has been widely adopted by over 150 games, is used by more than 10,000 developers of all kinds, and is supported on Sony's Playstation 3, Microsoft's Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, and PC. Furthermore, PhysX has been specifically designed to leverage the hardware acceleration provided by powerful processors with hundreds of cores. Supported by the impressive parallel processing capability of the GPU, PhysX skyrockets the computational power of physical movements.
