Coaxial cable and 5.1 sound

Hello,
I have a 5.1 amplifier. I am considering purchasing a TOSHIBA RD-98DT recorder. The technical specification of this product indicates the presence of a digital audio coaxial output. Does the presence of this output guarantee that my amplifier will reproduce 5.1 sound when playing a DVD (5.1 of course)?

    Hello,

    As you mentioned, it is equipped with a digital coaxial output, so you can output music signals in PCM and 5.1.
    No problem.
