Je ne peux pas ouvrir un fichier mpg

Bonjour,
j'ai vraiment un probleme qui m'ennuie enormemet, j'ai telecharger un filme d'un tel site mais quand j'ai essayer de l'ouvrir avec windows media player ou real player ou... un message a apparu pour m'informer que je ne puisse pas voir le film car ''the player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used tocompress the file
