Impossible to play 2 players on Wii in crash titan

Hello,
I can’t play two players on Crash of the Titan, in the manual they say to press A then + but I did it several times, impossible! the controller flashes but nothing happens, can someone give the solution? thanks!
Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 6.0

    Actually you need to put the Wii remote to play 2 players on, and after that the Nunchuk, then it should say "join +"
