Hello, I am currently having a problem with my D-jix M370 mp3 player. I just formatted it and added music again, but when I try to listen to my music, it shows "Alert: Erroneous File" on all my songs, whereas it didn't do that before. What should I do?
Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 7.0

Good evening,
I am completely lost and I hope to find some help from you. I just bought a d-jix M370 to listen to music. I plugged the device into my PC, I installed the CD that came with it, but I don't understand how to transfer my audio files from the PC to the MP3??? I’ve read all the messages so I tried different procedures but without success, I don’t understand anything, I must say that I'm not very skilled to begin with!!! Could someone help me explain the procedure from A to Z?????? Even following what is written in the guide, I can't get anything to work! HELP, thank you in advance.

I only got them at Christmas, but anyway
so go to the installation disc
go to Firmware Installation
there you have two files, the one you can't open is the update, but next to it you have ConsumerUpdate 2.8.1.2
open it, double click on ConsumerUpdate, install it and then you have the pink Game Boy, but it’s my mistake that I didn’t start it
you open it
go to open, and you
take the CD update
prepare the USB cable
take your MP4, go to update
you say yes
you plug in the cable
and you click on update
and there you go, sorry if it was long but I had to find the CD

Good evening everyone
As MIKA said on Sunday, November 16, 2008, you just have to read the manual
Page 30 "format the internal memory"
Connect the M370 to the PC - click "start" - click "My Computer" - select the drive "E" (internal memory of the M370)
Then - file - format - start
Since then, my M370 has been working fine

Hi,
I deleted the files that weren't working anymore, added some new ones, and everything is back in order.
Additionally, it's worth noting that updating the driver is not necessary unless you're using a Windows from the 2020s, which I doubt.
Anyway, have a great day everyone.

I have a problem myself: I resized the videos, but when I try to watch them on mp4, I can only see the first second, and this happens for all the videos I've tried... If someone can help me in return... Thank you in advance.
What do you mean by the reader e? Isn’t it rather the reader g? Oh my, it’s driving me crazy. I just reformatted the removable disk, finally the dijix, then I added all my music, but nothing works. “Error file alert” for half of my music.
Please help me.
Please help me.
Hello BoFo, I might have the solution to your problem. Have you tried doing the update?
That is to say, restoring the file as it was when you bought it.
And maybe you can also help me; do you know how to remove the link with the red photo when we go to -my computer?
Keep me posted, thanks. I got mine for Christmas; I took the 8 gig for movies, and I'm at the same point as if I had an MP3.

I don't know when I'll be able to go on my MP4, I have to export it otherwise it opens a link and the software they give you is paid.
And I don’t know if it’s the same for you, but on your mini disk you should have a firmware folder with the update in it and the software to do it too, then you go to your MP4 in settings
system
and there you have the option I just noticed that it says reset, you can do it just in case
or otherwise above there’s the update and it shows an alert because it formats it and USB connection
and that’s it.

I also have the same problem; all my audio files are impossible to listen to; I always get the same message: "corrupted file," even for the xylophone demos and others installed initially.
Moreover, I can't update the mp4 or format it.
Thank you for your help.

In fact, on the DJIX reader, I go to the system settings menu, update or reset (no matter, the result is the same!). I answer yes to the first question: ALERT update yes or no, and then I respond no to the next: USB cable connection, and I connect my reader directly to my PC, but nothing happens, the reader is not recognized!
For the reset, I say yes, and after that, nothing happens either!

I'm having big problems!!! Every time I try to upload videos, music, or images, it gives me corrupted files, or else it says "Alert, no files!" when I've uploaded images and videos!!!
Please help me!!! Thank you for your response.

Hi mini rebel, you need to convert the videos to AVI and in an image resolution of 160X128 (this is possible with the AVI converter software on your mini disk). The images must be resized. If you're on XP, take this
https://www.pcastuces.com/pratique/windows/xp/default.htm
it works really well, and the music doesn’t work either. Did you do it like the others above or not???
To check if the sound files are okay in your MP4, go to Explorer, but with the MP4 icon being a floppy disk, look in the MP4. When you find your file, check if the little icon in front is a rectangle with lines; if it’s all colored, it means the format is not supported by the MP4
there you go.

Hello,
I got my m^3 d-jix 370 for Christmas. I’ve read and re-read the manual, but the computer doesn’t recognize the mp3. I’ve already tried everything they said in the manual. The mp3 itself doesn’t turn on, and it is indeed set to “on.” I don’t know if this is normal, but I didn’t receive a “normal” CD; I have a CD for PSP. It’s just a tiny CD.
Please help me because it’s really frustrating. Thank you.

I'm not sure I understand you. At the time of the installation CD, did you get a PSP CD?
And otherwise, when you plug in your MP4, if the screen glitches, it means it's loading, so you won't see it from your PC. If it shows you a message to install the MP4, you need the disc. If nothing happens when you plug it in, then it's a problem with the MP4, the cable, or your port.
But I advise you to return it right away and tell them you're missing the software or something like that.
I don't know about you, but it's not guaranteed for long, so hurry up.

I Don't Understand. Everything Works Except The Videos. I Resized Them As It Says To 160x128. The Format Is Indeed Avi But When I Try To Play My Videos The Message "Alert Incorrect Format" Appears. Thank You For Helping Me Because My Mp4 Has Ultimately Returned To Being A Simple MP3 -_-
Hello,
I have also been struggling with this piece of junk device for a while; it obstinately refuses to read the mp3 files I provide (screen message: "wrong format!").
I formatted the device's disk following Zazze's recommendations (message 18), but when I added mp3 files again, it didn't work any better.
When I applied the recommendations from Allan59496 (message 31 - pages 17 and 18 of the electronic manual), I did get "No 1Rock USB Device Firmware updating successful," but I'm no further ahead.
P.S.:
I'm using Vista and I made sure the device's driver is updated.
I installed "ConsumerUpdate.msi" correctly.
Can any of you explain to me step by step how to resolve this before I throw this horror out the window after furiously stomping on it? I'm cracking... and I haven't even tackled the video yet.
Thank you
P.S.: It's a shame to sell such a thing. Shameful...

after going through the paper and pdf manual several times, we have not resolved the issue of reading the faulty files.
Please let us know how you were able to resolve this issue????
My child is eagerly waiting for the solution to enjoy their Christmas gift...
Thank you
Best regards
