Image display issues prestashop

Hello everyone,
I don't know if you are familiar with Prestashop, it's an e-commerce CMS a bit like OS Commerce but more simplified...
I have installed this CMS on an FTP, it works well but the problem is that the images of my products are not displaying!
http://faubourg21.olympe-network.com/www
On the homepage at the bottom you can see the pre-installed demo products, but if I try to create a product with a new image, that image does not display anywhere unlike the other images like "ipod nano, ipod touch, etc..." (I'm talking about the product test polo).

Could someone help me?

Thanks
Configuration: Windows XP Firefox 3.0.3 Intel Pentium 4 3GHz GeForce FX 6600 256MB HDD 160GB

I can surely help you... What modification did you make to not have any images anymore?
In my opinion, look at your file /config/settings.inc.php or else it's a permission issue.

      Hello Joel,

Thank you for your response. I haven't made any major changes, apart from adding and removing modules. Just before my photos and banner disappeared, I tried to change the customer account module and replace it with another module, blockmyaccount (a more aesthetically pleasing module), and since then, there have been no more photos and banner.

I reinstalled the original module, removed the one I had downloaded (it wasn't working after checking), so I reinstated the original Prestashop module for the customer account, and that didn't change anything; all my photos and banner are still missing.

Do you think it could be due to the customer account module? (even though it has nothing to do with the photos and banner?!)

You told me to look at my file/config/settings.inc.php, but what should I be looking for?

Thank you for your quick response.

      Best regards,
      Mickael

      Hello Mickael,

I don't think it makes any sense to look at this file since it's about changes in the /modules folder.

      To debug, I believe:
      - you need to check your permissions across the entire site.
      - regenerate your thumbnails (Administration->Preferences->Images->regenerate)

Ok Joel, I'm going to try the manipulation you mentioned => regenerate your thumbnails (Administration->Preferences->Images->regenerate)
but all the photos and my banner have disappeared, I no longer have the thumbnails or the large photos!
I also forgot to mention that on the back office side, it's the same thing:

Catalog / Client / Order / Payment / Transport / Stats / Modules etc..... there are no little logos, just red crosses :(

I'm waiting for your reply as soon as possible, I've been trying to solve this problem since yesterday, but I'm not very knowledgeable about it

      Best regards,
      Mickael

      Hi Joel,

I performed the action to regenerate my thumbnails (Administration -> Preferences -> Images -> regenerate)

and I am receiving an error message:

      6 errors:

      1. Unable to create the photo "No image" in the categories folder, please check the write permissions.
      2. Unable to create the photo "No image" in the manufacturers folder, please check the write permissions.
      3. Unable to create the photo "No image" in the suppliers folder, please check the write permissions.
      4. Unable to create the photo "No image" in the scenes folder, please check the write permissions.
      5. Unable to create the photo "No image" in the products folder, please check the write permissions.
      6. An error occurred while regenerating the images

      I think there is a problem :) ?

Do you think it's a rights issue?
How do we check the permissions across the entire site?

Looking forward to your response as soon as possible

      Best regards,
      Mickael

    Hello,
I have the same type of problem with Prestashop 1.4; everything was working fine regarding image uploads for products, I created several products without any problems, but for the past 24 hours, I keep getting the message ""An error occurred while copying the image"" that appears with every attempt and for different products.
    Thank you for your help...

change the image directly on your server with the image you want to replace

Note that the new image should be renamed to the same name as the one you want to replace

and you upload the new one to your web server.

      there you go

Normal, there’s a bug with the simplified URL writings, so I recommend renaming your products^^

You need to set the permissions to 777 instead of 755.

With your FTP software, you need to change the permissions.

Hello, I have exactly the same problem. Nothing is displayed on my shop. I can't add any modules. On my homepage, NOTHING. Thank you for your advice if you have a solution.

    Hello,

Sometimes you have to wait for your server to update the files. It depends on how the server is configured. Sometimes it's every 24 hours.
Ask your host what's going on.

    See you,
    Alex

In case you have activated the rewriting of URL (url-friendly) for SEO, please make sure you have generated the correct .htaccess file.

Hello, actually I would like to take a photo and I don't know how to realize my project.

Actually, it's a body with a skull instead of its head. Could you create this for me if I give you the photo of the body?

It's been happening to me since this afternoon: I can't upload my images in 1.4 even though everything was working fine this morning.
