Hello,

I am looking for a movie that, according to my memories, is called "The Pirate Island". Here's what I remember:

There are 4 teenagers, 3 boys and a girl (I only remember two names: Sarah and Brad) who go for a ride in a hot air balloon. They are all inside except one of the brothers (who later searches for them), when the third one arrives on a skateboard, he does a somersault, lands in the hot air balloon and during this time, the skateboard causes the rope that was holding the balloon to come loose. A storm breaks out and they end up stranded on an island where there are pirates who live without knowing about modern technology. They build a treehouse with the balloon. When they explore the island, some get kidnapped. At one point, Brad finds himself in a hole and to scare the pirate village he says, "I am the voice of Bluebeard, you cannot see me but fear my wrath!!!"

I looked on Dailymotion with the answer (The Lost Island) that you gave to Sasha and it does not match what I am looking for.

    Same, I've seen it dozens of times... I have it on cassette... but I'm looking for a TV rip...
    If I find a VCR, I might convert it ^^

      If you just send me the audio in MP3 or others, I can make a decent TVrip release. I have retrieved the original source from the only Russian YouTube video, so it's better than this one.

    I’m also looking for that cult little TV movie from our childhood, I contacted the distributor in Australia...
    If anyone has the VF (or VO) audio track, I can make a repack with the source that the Russian YouTuber used for uploading on YouTube (and thus better because without the upscale, nor the logo added at the bottom right, nor the additional recompression).

    Oh my god, it’s the same for me!!! Of all the movies from my childhood that I absolutely want to rewatch, it's the only one I've never been able to find, and I'm still searching and searching!

    Just the YouTube clip gave me a little shiver, damn I want to see it again :'(

    Hello, I see that your comment is quite recent, do you have any leads to find this movie?
    If it can help you or someone else, I found a complete version of the movie but in Russian dubbing.
    If someone could send at least the French audio, I could make something out of it.

      I found the original Russian copy without the overprinted logo or the upscale, and therefore without the YouTube re-compression step. It still looks terrible, but the video contains much more visual information. It is indeed the original source that was uploaded on YouTube, which could serve as a possibility for a repack VO or VF if the other video source is worse than this one, on a mirror server of the original dead Russian torrent that no longer has seeders.       And I traced back to the source by googling the tag "Edich2" from this release (via Google Translate because I can't manage Russian):

    I'm also looking for this childhood movie that I've been trying to find for years. I ended up posting messages with the few memories I had! I even came across a movie called "The Pirate Island" from '95 that misled me with the title, tough luck! We absolutely need to find it so we can make a nice MKV :)

    I'm looking for this movie that I've been searching for a very long time. I'm 20 years old and I watched this film when I was little. I even have memories of a scene with a cake and little boats.
    I remember the part with the skateboard and the proud girl, all of that is incredible to know that I'm not the only one looking for it, lol.
