difference between slideshow and presentation

Question

Hello, I would like to know if there is a difference between 'slideshow' and 'PowerPoint presentation' or if they mean the same thing. Thank you in advance.

Hello In my opinion, it's the same. With PP, you create a slideshow. -- To make a centennial tree: you will give it as much fertilizer as it needs, but it will still take a hundred years.

If there is a difference (I'm not sure), it must be that a slideshow is meant to run on its own, it is a finished product intended for distribution, while a presentation is the file you are working on to generate it: click on the appropriate icon at the bottom or press the F5 key or use view --> slideshow and your "presentation" is indeed a slideshow.
