Pb synaptic avec ubuntu

Bonjour,j'ai un problème avec synaptic sous ubuntu je n'arrive pas à installer une application.
Je fais rechercher je tape mon fichier il me le mets à gauche de la fenêtre mais j'ai aucun moyen de l'installer!
ex:LimeWireOther.zip
ex:Vuze_3.1.1.0_linux.tar.bz2
ex:amarok_amarok_1.4.7_anglais_182162.bz2

filezilla est dans l'universe
arrange toi pour que ton fichier /etc/apt/sources.list contienne ces lignes sans # devant

enuite tu fais sous synaptic : recharger et ta recherche marchera -
a gauche apparaisse les recherches que tu fais... pas les résultats
Donc tu n'a pas les dépots utiles pour ta recherche -
