Cannot see the avatars of my contacts anymore

Hello, I have a problem with Windows Messenger (MSN for short)
for a few days I haven't been able to see the avatars of my contacts on my current session
while on another session I can see the avatars of my other contacts.
Can you please help me, it's very annoying not to be able to see these avatars.

    Hello,

    When you open a window, in the top right corner of the "chat" frame, there should be some sort of arrow pointing to the right. Click on it.
