Caps Lock light stays off Solved

Question

Hello,

I have an HP Pavilion dv6000, and the Caps Lock light remains off. Probably a wrong manipulation, but I can't see which one and especially how to fix it.
The key is functional, but this light is very useful for managing the number keys as well.

The diode is non-functional, did the soldering come undone? We can't know that from our screen!
Bring your machine to the workshop, or get used to working without the indicator light (the taskbar at the bottom of the screen shows you if the key is activated)

Hi, forget it because there's a way to make letters uppercase by holding down the shift key while you type the text.

NO, I'm sorry it still doesn't work
the "caps lock" light stays off even though the key itself works!!
is it the "diode" that is not functioning anymore?
my computer is still under warranty, can this be covered by the warranty?

I have the same problem, the Shift key doesn't work and others like a, s, c, d, f, g, n, m don't work either.

Sorry guys, you’re completely off...
This comes from one of the HP updates or sometimes from a Microsoft Update; the best way is to reinstall the PC to factory settings, otherwise fiddle around with various updates.
