Hello, I can translate the provided text into English while preserving tone and structure.

Hello,
I have a We BlackBox 750Go HDMI wifi.
After trying to change the video output mode to HDMI, it froze permanently. No way to revert, no way to turn it off. On power-up it boots, the blue buttons at the top light up and stay on, then it freezes again and can’t be turned off without unplugging the power supply.
Pressing the TV-Out button changes nothing.
The USB hard drive part still works if I start the BlackBox with the USB cable connected
Is there a solution before the return to after-sales service (SAV) ?
Thanks for your help.

I'm fed up with We Digital.
I bought mine in early 2008, Fullblack TFT HDMI H264. The HDMI output works fine, but there are issues reading files. Whether HD or not, sometimes, not always, the disk freezes, blocks... I disconnect/reconnect the power and everything goes back to normal. Annoying, but I'm getting used to it.
July 2008, a new WE Digital site and a new firmware. "HOURA THE DISK DOESN'T CRASH ANYMORE! HD PLAYBACK IS NICKEL".... but that was before I realized I no longer had access to my HDMI output...
Two emails to the wedigital support, one to the Korean manufacturer (novatron), none of which help at all.
Today I just realized that novatron is distributing a new firmware, 118 (which replaces 115, which replaces 106) http://www.hdfusion.eu/filebase/index.php?path=Firmware%2F%2FNovatron+IAMM+NTD37L/
I tell myself "they thought of me", right...
In short, there are two options: settle for a 1080i in YUV (even though the device is supposed to be 1080p HDMI) or buy ME A REAL MULTIMEDIA DISK and send the current one back to the sender, and resell it afterwards.
I will opt for the second solution, I hope only that Samsung will wake up and end its partnership with a company more than dubious that simply distributes a Korean product by just changing the firmware wallpaper while offering no support. Having seen many other unhappy users on forums, I can say the product totally deserts the firm that provides beautiful screens. -
Hello,
I just received the Fullblack TFT HDMI H264. Since it was refurbished by the manufacturer, I have the latest firmware version 1.1.119. I can read MKVs without a problem! but the wifi is mega slow!!
Does anyone have an idea??
Thanks -
I have this multimedia hard drive (digital FULL BLACK TFT HDMI H264) and in the end it’s a real piece of crap!!!
Originally it doesn’t read MKV: since I bought it 2 days ago, that is December 1, 2008! It had firmware 1.1.104, so mega obsolete!
I figure I’ll find more info on the site and well no! nothing! they added firmware 1.1.118 and that’s it!! no information about the fixes brought by the new version, which is outrageous for the manufacturer’s site!!
Anyway I install everything and the update is successful, but upon restart, I get “power on” is on and that’s all! the menu doesn’t launch! when connected to USB you can access the drive but the OS is completely dead!
It did work fine before and I liked it a lot! but it seems my case isn’t isolated and customer service doesn’t respond to emails. I sent my first email! tomorrow I’ll call them, and if there’s nothing, I’ll do a standard exchange for another brand like DVico. at least the latter is known for not having this kind of crap failures on a successful update. -
I have this multimedia hard drive and at the moment I have no problems besides the noise it makes. It’s unbearable when you’re watching a movie because there’s background noise.

WE Digital - BLACKBOX 500 HDMI ... I don’t know if the remote would make much difference to the problem ... Knowing that the drive freezes at startup and that I have no access to the menus.

Hello,
I have the WE DIGITAL Full Black TFT HDMI h264 1Tera for 2 months now (wifi 1080p model capable of reading mkv and h264) and I’m very satisfied with this product offering true 1080p resolution as advertised. Additionally, the case design is nice, I personally find the menu navigation quite intuitive. My firmware version is the original 118, the latest announced on the official site.
No problem with my divx, mkv, etc., and wifi setup is relatively straightforward as long as you can read a manual and remember to disable the firewall integrated into Windows or your personal antivirus.
I therefore recommend the We digital by Samsung brand, which is qualitatively much better than the low-end Memup, or the Storex equivalent (both tested).-
Hello.
I thought I could read a manual and even a bit more...
Okay. I have the BB HDMI Wifi, and a Livebox that should act as a router, as it already does between my laptop via Wifi and my desktop via Ethernet. After studying the manual, I managed to get the Livebox recognized by the Blackbox. The network icon is active on the TV screen. The BB is indeed connected to the Livebox via Wifi. the network name that appears is indeed the Livebox SSID. But it’s the other way round that doesn’t fit. Shouldn’t the BB then appear in the list of devices connected to the Livebox, with its MAC address? This isn’t the case and obviously the 2 computers connected to the Livebox don’t recognize the BB either. The use of the NDAS software doesn’t help. It “creates” the device corresponding to the entered code and key, but still reports it as not connected. I also used the trick found on these pages (ndasscan, etc...) to verify that the wireless code on the BB was correct (many contributors reporting that theirs was wrong!). No signal detected.
So well, I must not know how to read a manual. But I beg those who know to teach me how to read!!!

Hello,
Can you tell me whether it is possible to record a TV show (like Canal Plus) on this hard drive? For info, I’m with Orange :)
Thanks for the info. -
For a good multimedia hard drive, take a Divico 6500A with the TNT HD T431 or T430 tuner. True HD in H.264, HDMI up to 1080p. Excellent picture quality, the sound is pretty good too.

I have the same problem on the 500GB version... If someone has a solution, that would be really kind. The hotline isn't even replying anymore...
-
Bought at Darty on March 23, 2008
one might think it breaks on purpose just 1 year after the warranty.... -
I can't find it, but in general, there’s a button on the remote to switch the display to HDMI or another output.
-
I no longer have the remote... But the problem is exactly the same as in the first post. I can see the boot image (HD Multimedia ....) and after that a black screen. The BB freezes. The blue buttons on the top are lit and it’s impossible to turn it off. The TV Out selector doesn’t work. I tried HDMI, Component, and YUV. Same result.
-
You could connect it to your PC and reinstall the software
-
I downloaded the firmware, decompressed it into an UPDATE folder as explained on the WEDIGITAL site. But nothing happens...
-
His name is indeed "BackBox." I can't find anything under that name. Otherwise you could have used a universal remote like a Logitech Harmony 525, and retrieved the commands for your equipment from their database.
-
If it is possible, the hard drive might be dead; you could try putting a USB key or another hard drive in Fat32 with images and connect it to the rear USB Host port and try reading it.
-
Reinstall the latest firmware, or the previous one. If you connected it to your PC, use the context menu to run a disk check.
