Hello
I have received several messages lately telling me that I was the lucky winner of €65,000, but I just needed to provide my name, address, age, city, etc.
Then comes an "official" letter asking me (again by email) for a transfer authorization that is under the jurisdiction of the court of first instance in Abidjan to unlock the winnings.
Strange, you say strange??
Anyway, I don't believe it at all, and if they expect me to send them my bank account number, ... they can wait a long time.
Thanks for your information and see you soon.

Me too, I won and I answered the bailiff, the lawyer, and the bank, having my heart on my sleeve, and seeing the poverty of some countries in Africa, where millions of people are dying of hunger, famine for children, the ignorance of the big countries of this world towards Africa, I have thus made my gain to feed the people... Damn, I haven't even gotten a thank you yet!!!!!!! :-))
Good evening everyone, well I fell for it like a big fool... I believed it but it was a scam, I sent everything back... I got duped...
A word of advice to all, don't let joy get the better of you...
This leads to big problems like responding to emails telling me I won 200,000 euros... and in the end, I got nothing at all.

Hello,
I am Master Sébastien Dupuis, a bailiff mandated by BINGO LOTO for the handover of prizes to the different winners. In this regard, I confirm that I have received your contact details and I am sending you your gain certificate and informing you of your winning status:
Your winning status:
Serial number: S/N- 00168
Game number: 102446985
Security code: MSW/MAR/XX06
Winning code: CB 007-0121-BAF/2706-09
Rank occupied: 2nd
Amount: €250,000
I would like to inform you that your file is in the process of legalization in the Ivorian justice system. Please note that under the rules of the lottery, the winner must travel to Côte d'Ivoire to collect their prize.
If you are unable to travel, the office offers you two options for prize withdrawal as follows:
1 - bank check of €225, we already have your address
2 - bank transfer of €198, we need your R.I.B
Both options require fees that are solely borne by the beneficiary.
Regarding the check, we will send you a copy of the check by email as the certified copy will be submitted to CHRONOPOST INTERNATIONAL for dispatch and delivery to your address.
Regarding the transfer, once issued, we will send you the scanned receipts of the transfer by email.
Note: You must note that the fees cannot be deducted from the prize amount as the BANK CONTROL COMMISSION only allows the winner access to their prize; therefore, only they are permitted to deduct any amount from their winnings.
This is under the law of Article 205, Section 42 of Decree 589 of 1995. Anyone else deducting even a cent from your winnings could lead to the irrevocable issuance of an ORDER OF ARREST/CANCELLATION with notification to the CEPCI-CI management and ECOBANK regarding your prize.
That said, the fees associated with the transfer of your winnings are your responsibility, and we are just waiting to know which method you wish to receive it to proceed with the dispatch.
P.S.: You will find attached your gain certificate
Please be aware that we have a deadline to respect as mentioned in the timelines of the administrative and legal procedures for the award of the prize.
For any further information, please contact me at: 00225 67 34 55 04

I live in the overseas territories and I received the same message saying that I had won 10,000,000 US dollars
but in order to obtain this money, I needed a document from the Ivorian justice system and to get it, I would have to pay the lawyer around 500 euros, which I did not do.

How can someone be so stupid as to believe that in one of the poorest countries in the world, you can be sent $1,000,000 for a game you have never participated in????????????????
That shows you don't know what is called a lack of democracy, because in African countries, even if you win $1,000, there will always be a way to divert it from the real winner to put the name of a cousin or a relative. WAKE UP !!!
ADVICE:
1- There are no miracles in life. You don't even win the French Lotto you played by losing so much money on the bet. And how do you think you will win money without having wagered??????????
2- We in Africa are so poor that 99% of us have never seen the color of a 500 Euro bill. The biggest bill in Africa is 10,000 FCFA (15 Euros). Our own governments don't have the money to pay their civil servants. And you think that if such an amount existed somewhere in Africa, it wouldn't be our governments coming to do the heist???????????????
3- Go to work. The lure of easy money will lead you into a hole. Today it is the lottery, tomorrow it is drugs;
4-

6- THERE IS SO MUCH TO SAY, but is it worth it for such crazy people????????

Good evening Africa2
1. Thank you for this insulting message from scammed internet users who sincerely believed in the promises made from Africa
2. Which means that Africans are no longer credible to the French
3. There are people in France in financial distress, and a good financial news can trap what is monstrous on the part of Africans
4. On the other hand, your leaders are not that poor since they pocket the French and European aid sent for the African people and not for themselves; in addition, life is much cheaper in Africa and has not the multiple life constraints of Europeans
5. What is striking is the stereotype that Africans have of the French or Europeans
"HE IS WHITE HE IS RICH HE ALWAYS HAS MONEY AND WE DON’T HAVE ANY"
6. Which is false, and moreover this mentality is perpetuated by the Africans themselves who live and work in France or Europe often in miserable conditions and who, despite these difficulties, send money to their families who stayed "back home" and do not know the living conditions of Africans in France or Europe; thus, this constant lie to their families maintains this racism towards Europe and France
BECAUSE
In the African mentality, more in men than in women:
- "a disproportionate pride not to lose face in the village in front of neighbors, and young Africans who come to live in France can only be RICH and have succeeded in the eyes of their parents and the village"
- "a thirst for power THROUGH MONEY over the supposedly 'rich' European"
- "an ability to exploit the other unknown to enrich oneself without working that only Africans dare to have by abusing not only the weakness of people in France but the values that come from a Christian culture
7. So I return the compliment to you
"Work yourselves" because we know very well that in Africa it is the women who work like beasts while men lounge around and gossip to the point that young African girls born or living in France have no desire to go live in Africa, and when the family or France sends them back to the country often to force them to marry, they struggle not to do so
"In France, people work a lot; those who are unemployed seek work with determination except for the few slackers that exist everywhere"
8. Knowing that I haven't taught you anything but it’s better to say it after your hurtful irony
a retired person who still works because they must work to live
SEE YOU SOON

MASURE2
"Put your gifts to the service of others and do not abuse your power" Mr. X.
Masure2,
I believe you haven't understood anything, absolutely nothing about life and the world today.
You mix up cabbage and goats. We were talking about scams and people like you who, when it's time to receive a so-called social retirement pension, discover a newfound libido to seek out young girls in Africa to marry, and unfortunately end up getting scammed.
There are scammers because there are people who want to live above their means, people who do not recognize their limits. It is you who feed these bandits' livelihoods, and by doing so, you are complicit yourself.
As for Africa, I doubt you have the intellectual capacity to understand the elementary things I am going to tell you, but at least the internet users will be able to read and criticize if necessary:
1- It is Africa that helps France, not France or Europe that helps Africa. Edgar Pisani writes in his memoirs that in 1961, while he was Minister of Agriculture under General De Gaulle, there was a secret directive from the European Economic Community that asked to keep African countries at a subsistence level by paying for their raw materials at a level that did not allow them to create and accumulate wealth. And this was done.
2- All African countries colonized by France suffer a racket from France amounting to 65% of the value of all exports. In other words, France receives through the French Treasury 65% of everything that African countries using the CFA franc export.
3- France is the world's leading producer and exporter of electrical current from nuclear power, which comes from uranium from Niger and Gabon. Gabon, which has 1,000,000 inhabitants, is one of the most indebted African countries, despite the fact that TOTAL-ELF exploits 100% of the oil from this country, AREVA 100% of the uranium from this country, etc. The daily electricity bill of EDF with Italy is the budget of Gabon for 100 years. So who is living off of whom?
CONCLUSION
All of this is coming to an end because, in the meantime, Africans like me have attended Harvard, Princeton, Yale, etc., and know where Africa's interests lie. That's why we are utilizing China, which is putting sticks in the wheels of the Europeans. And the crisis that Europe is experiencing now is just a preview of what will happen in the next 10-20 years because Africa will no longer send its raw materials. China is better because at least they have money. Africans have understood that Europe is poor but pretends to be rich, and hides away to go beg from China. We are in the process of building the United States of Africa to establish our prosperity, something Europe is failing to do. Every country in Africa is ready to drown the other over petty issues regarding grapes, potatoes, oranges, or strawberries.

As for women, do not confuse what is happening in Muslim African countries that insist on living in the Middle Ages, like Morocco or Algeria. Elsewhere, there is a woman from Liberia, she is an economist from Harvard. In the African Union Commission, there is a parity of 5 women and 5 men. In countries like Rwanda, there is gender parity in parliament, with 49% women and 51% men, which is the highest parity rate in the world. In France, have you read everything that has been written against Ségolène to settle for a mediocre like Sarkozy? Please do not come talk to an African about women's rights. If you were Norwegian, Swedish, or Finnish, you could do so because there, by law, companies are required to have 40% women on their boards of directors. I swear, the dream of an African woman is not to marry a retired loser to escape fetching water from the well, no. The African woman today wants to count like Michelle Obama who earned twice as much as her husband.
Best regards
AFRICA2

Good evening Afrika2
1. Thank you for this long message
2. Your contempt for me is not a sign of intelligence
As for my intellectual abilities, they are doing well, thank you
I have embarked on a new professional degree at the age when others are retiring, and in my younger years, a higher education degree was not synonymous with intellectual incapacity, so you're completely wrong on this point
3. As for your view of Africa, it comes from a certain environment that does not reflect the Africans that I know and associate with
4. Moreover, my sister worked for 4 YEARS in 2 different African countries, so... As for Africa helping France, our leaders will be pleased to hear that
5. Regarding a MADAME OBAMA who succeeded, how many African women are struggling
6. For the rest, I won't discuss it with you
I simply observe that it is mostly African men who scamming the French AND NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND
I wish you a good evening
SEE YOU SOON

I don't want to make too many comments.
We have people who, with their naivety, fuel bandits in Africa, and they have the courage to justify it with poverty and who knows what else. Funding a criminal makes them stronger against the law enforcement that is supposed to stop them.
Regarding intelligence, the people reading the messages on this forum will form their own opinion about our statements.
But I find it astonishingly arrogant to pretend to know a continent of 900 million souls just because you come into contact with 4 or 10 underprivileged individuals living in the same social housing or suburban area.
I have visited all 15 countries of the former European Union, and I can assure you that a Swede has nothing in common with a Frenchman, an Italian has nothing in common with a Finn, etc. Italians even cheat at the state level, while Finns will return your wallet with all its contents. Just because I meet a loser from a remote, desert country in Africa, who suffers from our mosquitoes while trying to get his head above water, doesn't mean I can claim to know Europeans. You can only know a people in their natural environment. I’ve met French people in the USA who hide their nationality, while those living in the mainland are so nationalistic. This is all to explain to you, in simple terms, not to make statements that make you, at the very least, ridiculous.
About Africans who scam the French and not the other way around, I just want to say that crime has no nationality. A bandit is a bandit, whether they are Irish or Sicilian, they're still a bandit. Fofana sought refuge in Côte d'Ivoire after his horrific crime against the young Jew, hoping he would be protected because he's Ivorian. What his little rotten brain could not allow him to understand is that we despise those kinds of Africans who tarnish the honor of our continent. And if we don't put a criminal out of harm's way, sooner or later they will reoffend, and this time not just on foreigners. Because what all criminals have in common is precisely that they have no heart. And why would you want to drag me into the gutter of debate, which would even indirectly appear as support for bandits???????????????
Good weekend.
Africa2
P.S.: My crude remarks were intentionally pronounced to shock and awaken those concerned about the seriousness of the gangsterism that is developing day by day in Africa, fueled by these naïve individuals. Whether it's the hijacked boats off the coast of Somalia, the so-called money scams in Côte d'Ivoire, or the lottery in Nigeria, all of this is just different faces of the same coin, that of gangsterism. And nothing can justify light behavior due to the simple lure of gain from some naïve retirees from France. We must denounce the bandits and with them, all those who fall into their traps.

I allow myself to respond to Africa2 who, although not too far off-base overall, is far too self-satisfied in his intervention, condescending and borderline racist in his (brief) remarks about Morocco or Algeria. I simply quote one typical sentence that particularly made me smile: "All this comes to an end because in the meantime, Africans like me have gone to Harvard, Princeton, Yale, etc., and know where Africa's interests lie."
Especially since the number of typos in his writing could undermine the credibility of such prestigious institutions, particularly when the reader does not have the great intellectual capacity he repeatedly highlights. He should not lose sight of the fact that sometimes fools can be educated (like me) and that naivety is not systematically linked to stupidity, just as erudition is not necessarily linked to intelligence.
I believe that the people who intervened on this forum just wanted to point out a scam or find out more about this idyllic email. I recently put a second-hand vehicle for sale on several websites and the only responses I received were from individuals living in Côte d'Ivoire (4 emails from different people in the same evening) who could not come to see it, who needed my details: name, surname, address, phone number, and of course, banking information to proceed with the transfer or issue a bank check. In this sentence, as impartial as it is intellectual: "Go work. The lure of easy money will lead you into the hole. Today it's the lottery, tomorrow it's drugs;" Africa2 seems to imply that the French are lazy because they are gullible in receiving an email telling them they've won a fortune. To return to the sale of my car, it is evident that the scam also comes from Africa, so in conclusion, regardless of the means to seize confidential and personal information, some dishonest individuals get in touch with you via the net, through which it is extremely difficult to unmask them, and the African continent seems to be the ideal platform for this type of wrongdoing. There is not a trace of racism; it is just a statement.

Don't respond to any emails claiming to be the lucky winners of the lottery, etc. This is all just deception and large-scale scams. Do not give any personal information, which can be used against you. Many of these scams originate from Africa and are hard to catch, so be careful and do not send any money to anyone. Just throw away these letters that clutter your mailboxes.
Well, I am the lucky winner of a prize of one million dollars!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's guaranteed Larnaka!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In these games, I win about 5,000,000 dollars a week on average for the past few years. You really have to be naive to respond to this kind of scam! 90% of it comes from Africa, and 10% from England. So, if you respond, either they will tell you that there are some fees to unlock the funds, and the naive person will send money - or they will wait some time if you have given them your banking details, and one fine day you'll see that your account balance is decreasing, ha ha.
Playing with human folly and the thirst for gold... it will work at least once in 1,000, right?

As some friends said, I also received an email informing me that I am the lucky winner of the lottery called Bingo Loto Prestige, and as soon as I received that message, I quickly looked for its origin and the requested information, especially the account number, card number, amount number or something like that. In the end, I found out that this information was not asked for at first but would come later???? Without saying much, I invite my Moroccan compatriots not to trust these suspected virtual parties/organizations anymore. I advise our Ivorian friends to look for someone else.
