Bonjour,
Une de mes connaissances a récuperé un PC et a installé linux 8.04 en plus de windows XP.
Elle a defragmenté le disque dur en trois parties (linux/wind/docs) mais au moment du boot impossible d'aller sur windows
message d'erreur: Error 13 : invalid or unsupported executable format
Ma copine a essayé de réparer en lisant ce forum

Essaye d'utiliser le GPARTED LIVE CD, il permet de réinstaller la mbr ( là ou est installé GRUB ), sa devrait fonctionner par la suite.
merci deja pour ces reponses mais pour le logiciel Gparted (il a l'air pas mal) boot bien mais s'arrete (plus de repnse sur l'ecran) apres m'avoir demandé la langue et etc ... (j'ai la poisse aujourd'hui)

Remets le gparted et quand sa bloque tape "force VESA" ou "force XVESA", il bloque quelques fois sur les anciennes machines pentium ( monocore )

Eu jsuis un peu bête sur le coup, UBUNTU propose un mode de réparation sur le cd, juste après le boot ( depuis la 7.10 ), il faudra peut-être creuser dans cette direction
je sais qu'il y a d'autres interfaces graphique qui peuvent fonctionner...
Peut être "force xorg" enfin je ne suis plus sur pour ça désolé!

Désolé adrien, c'est au dessus de mes capacités ( la ligne de commande linuxienne c'est vraiment pas mon truc :/ )
désolé mais fdisk -"l" c'est quoi exactement le dernier caractere ? (ca fait pull je sais mais je veux etre sur)

Bon si tu veux j'ai une méthode bourrin mais y va falloir réinstaller ubuntu:
- Booter sur le cd de windows XP
- Lancer le mode de récupération, un prompt ( lignes de commandes ) va apparaître
- Taper fdisk/mbr
--------------- Windows XP est à nouveau utilisable -----------------------
- Ensuite mettre le CD UBUNTU et le réinstaller en formatant son ancienne partition
-------------------------------------------ou-------------------------------------------
- Booter sur GPARTED et séléctionner l'option "Install grub on mbr" au démarrage...

- Booter sur le cd de windows XP
- Lancer le mode de récupération, un prompt ( lignes de commandes ) va apparaître
- Taper fdisk/mbr
--------------- Windows XP est à nouveau utilisable -----------------------
- Ensuite mettre le CD UBUNTU et le réinstaller en formatant son ancienne partition

- Booter sur GPARTED et séléctionner l'option "Install grub on mbr" au démarrage...
