Fichier <racine windows> endommagé

Bonjour,
mon ordinateur s'est redémarré tout seul, et un ecran noir est apparu avec ecris ceci: Windows n'a pas pu démarré car le fichier <racine windows>\system32\hal.dll est endommagé.
j'ai alors mis mon cd de reinstallation Windows XP et au moment de supprimer la partition et tout reinstaller j'ai quitté, l'ordinateur s'est alors redémarré et Windows s'est lancé.
Ce n'est pas la premiere fois que ceci m'arrive svp aidez moi !
