Hello, I'm looking for how to reactivate the built-in Wi-Fi on an Acer 5610Z laptop,
This laptop worked on Wi-Fi until yesterday and now I can't connect to Wi-Fi, it says WLAN disabled. On Windows Vista Premium
I no longer have the user manual, I only have my purchase packaging
Thank you for your help

Hello ^^
I had the same issue 5 minutes ago, I looked into it a bit.

- Check that the Wifi switch on the front of the laptop is turned on
- If that doesn’t work, go to device manager / network adapter, right-click properties then advanced, change the Value from disable to enable and ok
- Right-click on the icon at the bottom right where you see two computer screens with a big red cross. Choose "troubleshoot problem", the PC will analyze it and should resolve the wlan deactivation by itself :)
Just I did the second option I changed: average value to high value (but I would like to know if that changes something on my computer)
Hi
??? The second option of which parameter?
"If it doesn't work, go to Device Manager / Network Adapter, right-click Properties then Advanced, change the Value from Disable to Enable and OK." It was set to average value for me, and I changed it to high value and my Wi-Fi started working again, so I'm wondering what that changes??
