Watch TV online

Hello,
I'm trying to watch TV online, but the audio and video are choppy
my monitor shows that the CPU is not very loaded
I have an internet speed of 512 Kbps, is there any way to get around this?
any input is more than welcome
Configuration: Mac OS X 10.4.11 Firefox 2.0.0.14

    JADIDKHA, you are in the wrong forum. The answer you gave is good, but for issues on the forum above. Here it's the Mac forum.

    As for skandra, I'm sorry for you, but a speed of 512kbps is too low to watch TV online. You need at least 2 megabytes. That's why the video is choppy. Otherwise, how do you watch TV? Free and Neuf have an option to watch TV on low bandwidth, the quality isn't the same, but it's sufficient.

      It might be outside the application.. actually, I'm trying to watch Roland Garros online from London.. so I found how to watch it when living in France or the US, but for the UK, I'm struggling..

      Anyway, not all channels are always top-notch in terms of buffering... for example Eurosport live 1 may stutter while MCM or NRJ hits are running smoothly:

      If they are working properly, your bandwidth is not the problem.

    It may be forbidden. For example, I couldn’t watch "Big Brother" from France. You had to be on UK territory.
