Good evening,

My problem is the following:

I just got back Diablo 2 (and its expansion) that I had lent to a friend, I install Diablo 2 Lod, no problem.
However, when I want to install the extension, it tells me cyclic redundancy error and blah blah blah...
Well, my CD is ruined, okay.

So I download the extension via a torrent client (I do not encourage downloading), during the installation, the installer tells me that the installation packages must be in the same language.

I think okay, I'm going to download the entire game (including the expansion), I install it with my CD keys (available on my box). The installation goes smoothly...
I connect to Battlenet, everything is fine...
Except the game is in English and I can't find a French patch.
I remind you that I do not encourage downloading,
buy your games but do not lend them...

    Well, let's say that 10 or 15 € when you've already bought the game is really annoying.
    Then no, I didn't find it on a torrent, at least nothing that had sources.
    But it's okay, I found the solution, Blizzard offers legal downloads of the game’s ISO files for CD key holders. Of course, you have to register and have your own CD keys, otherwise it won't work. You also need to have software like Daemon Tools, Alcohol 120%, Magic ISO, etc., which have the ability to use ISO files with virtual drives.

      Well, for reading ISOs, I use WinRAR to extract them, just like .ZIP files (.rar for WinRAR), and I burn them onto a CD with Nero, I don't need software like Daemon Tools, not me :O

      Well, I had completely lost my CDs because of 5 or 6 moves, and now I've downloaded them (the 4 CDs [Install, Cinematics, Play and Expansion Discs]) in .iso (via torrents) and then with WinRAR I extracted them and put the files on a blank CD-ROM. I can play on Battle.net because I still had my CD-KEYS (Papers in the wallet for the win :D).

      @Sakos00wsHi, I have the same problem. I lost my Diablo CDs because of moving, and I don't know how to download the 4 CDs, but I still have the CD key. Can you tell me how you downloaded Diablo 2?

      @samsaYou can download the game directly from the site https://www.blizzard.com/en-us/?ref=battle.net

      Create an account using the link to the right, a big yellow button
      Then create your account
      Once logged into the website
      under my games, click on add a game
      Enter your Diablo 2 serial number
      Click add
      Select the desired language
      Once finished, you will have your game in the list, click on game management, and you will see a link
      Download the PC version or download the Mac version

      Downloading is quick, then launch the Blizzard downloader, which will download the game installation files
      This is version 1.12 that will be installed, so no updates to do
      Then during the installation, enter the key given on the website and not the one from the CD
      There you go, you can keep the installation files for Diablo 2 if you don’t want to redownload them.
