    If you put the CD in the drive, the PC will boot from it before looking for Windows.
    For the password, have you tried not typing anything and just hitting enter?

      Yes, I tried not typing anything, but it doesn't work either.

      The problem is that my CD player is no longer working. I thought the external burner might be able to replace it, but nothing happens when I put the installation CD in it, so I guess not :s

    by default guest is without password

    try

    user: Administrator
    pass: (nothing)

    or

    user: guest
    pass: (nothing)

      Thank you very much! Indeed, by entering

      username: administrator
      password: (nothing)

      it worked! I was then able to check how I named the main administrator account to repeat the process

      Thanks again, I had been stuck on this problem for several days, which wasn't really anything serious :)
