How to insert an image in openoffice.org

Hello,

I would like to use the word processing software offered in Open Office, but I'm having trouble inserting images like I used to do very easily with WORD.

Hi,

simply go to the Insert menu/Image/From file..., or drag and drop from a file manager.

I also have the same issue and with WORD I would do "image" "insert" "from file" or "from library", I would choose "library" and just type "Santa Claus" (or something else) and the image would be inserted... but now, if there are no images or libraries in my file, where do I find them in Open Office?

Indeed, there is no image library installed in Open Office Calc; however, since it is an open-source software, it is possible to download perfectly compatible images from this site:

http://download.openclipart.org/downloads/
