Alcatel switch username and password

Question

Hello,

I would like to know if anyone can give me the default username and password for an Alcatel switch.
I want to administer it via http.
Additionally, when I am in hyperterminal mode, I can't save my changes. When I press the ? key, I don't get the command that allows me to save changes.

If anyone can help me.

Hello,

the default login and password are:

login: admin
password: switch

To manage it via the web, you'll need to type this command: aaa authentication default local

don't forget to do a write memory and a copy working certified to save the config

For your communication problem via your hyperterminal, did you set this configuration:

bits per second: 9600
data bits: 8
parity: none
stop bits: 1
flow control: none

Then hang up and pick up the phone icon, and then press enter.

If it’s not that, try using putty, it's free

Otherwise, it might be your console cable.
