Hello,

I just switched to Opera and I want to install the Google toolbar but I can't figure out how!?

I downloaded the Google toolbar and it installed under Internet Explorer and not under Opera...!? I know it can be installed on Firefox... but Opera?? Is it actually just not possible or is there a way??

Thanks in advance for your help!
Configuration: Windows XP Opera 9.25

Hello,

I'm using Opera and I want to install the Google Toolbar, but it's impossible to embed it in the top menu!?

The one I downloaded is not compatible at all.

Thank you in advance for your help!

No need to overthink it, when you need to translate something you just open your internet explorer again and go to the same page and translate, anyway when you install opera it doesn't erase your old search engines!!!! :)

There is an unofficial version available.

https://addons.opera.com/en/

However, I don't understand the point of having the Google toolbar, but hey, everyone has their own tastes :p !

Thank you, I will take a look at the link.

Actually, I am only interested in the word-for-word translation that appears when you hover over, as offered by the Google toolbar!

Unless there is a widget in Opera that provides that??

In this case, this unofficial version does not provide this word-for-word translation...

I want it because I find it really very practical.

I found this, but I'm not sure if it's suitable for you:

https://addons.opera.com/en/

These are translation tools that I haven't tried myself, I don't know their functions, but in my opinion, they don't include your famous word-for-word translation by hovering over the word :p

Hi,

I use the Google bar to find my bookmarks on my work PC and on my home PC...
I haven't found any other method that's as quick and efficient...

Maybe you have an idea?

In the meantime, I'll check out your widget link for Opera since I've switched to Opera 10.5.

I use the Google toolbar for direct page translation, and I'm also looking to have it on Opera.

hi
you need to set google calendar as the homepage
this automatically opens the calendar, then add your internet service provider's homepage in the panels by clicking on the +
