    What is at stake is not the DELPHI development product that you have or do not have but a program written and compiled under Delphi (while it was under a trial license) that you would be using...

    Yes, I have it, and I deleted it. It works again, that's cool. But what was this CPR program for? And why was it linked to Explorer and Windows Explorer?

      since November 28, I have the same problem. My computer is frozen (I can't access the workstation, my documents, or add/remove programs). Nothing works except Kazaa and eMule...
      I saw that you solved this problem. Could you explain to me in simple terms, as I am not an expert in computers, how to solve this issue?

        First of all, in order to do something, you need to change the date and go back in time. After that, you can go to the Control Panel and go to Add/Remove Programs to uninstall the CPR software. Then you set the date correctly, and it should work.

    If you also have a blocking message referring to delphi, it is likely due to the cpr.dll file created in violation of rights under delphi...
    you search for the location of this file...
    ..start..search..*cpr.dll
    ..carefully note the path..
    ..delete this file
    if you have no access to explorer or the workstation, do it via DOS prompt
    ..start...programs...MS DOS commands...del c:\the noted path\cpr.dll

    The executable explorer.exe (the explorer) "gathers" when launched various secondary level exes and dlls to handle tasks that may be conducted from it.
    Moreover, there are significant interactions between explorer.exe and ieexplorer.exe

    1) The file cpr.dll appears to have been written with a declaration making it a DLL extension of explorer.exe.
    2) It was also created in violation of Delphi rights.
    3) It was "loaded" onto your computer with some freeware.
    4) It is not a virus, but it created disturbances like a virus.

    We had identified what could have happened under Delphi, but without Mariposa's intervention, we would have had a hard time knowing that it was this file that was in violation of rights because we were looking for an .exe instead.

    I couldn't reply sooner because I was absent today.
    I indeed have a log called CPR. I uninstalled it, and now, what a joy, it's working again like before.
