Hello,

I'm sharing my problem: I put a screen protector on my smartphone's touchscreen, but I didn't like it; it wasn't smooth as promised, and the touchscreen stopped working with this protection.

So, I removed it, but oh surprise, I noticed there was a very slight layer of some kind of glue on the screen, impossible to remove, I tried with glasses cleaner without success. The screen is not very shiny now, and it disheartens me.
Have you had this kind of problem? In any case, I know I will not use a screen protector again.
I don't know what to do to solve this problem as you can't do just anything on a touchscreen.
Is there
anyone who has a solution? I would be grateful as my screen is all dull, and I would like it to regain its original beauty. PLEASE HELP ME

Thank you in advance for your responses and suggestions.
Best regards and see you soon.
Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 6.0

Hello,

Don't worry, I had the same problem but I found out how to clean it without damaging the screen.
For that, you need:

- Cotton
- Turpentine

When you have all that, take a bit of cotton and let a little turpentine drip onto it (don't use too much! It shouldn’t be dripping; otherwise, it might seep inside and damage it), then gently apply the moistened cotton to the screen, rubbing without pressing too hard, and normally it should come off (I had so much glue on my screen that my stylus was sticking to it, so you don’t have to worry ^^). After that, you need to remove the turpentine left on the screen; take a clean cotton ball or a tissue, and that's it. You’ll have a beautiful screen that’s even shinier than before :)
There you go, good luck.

PS: Keep me informed, and a little thank you doesn’t hurt :)

Hello,
I cleaned my LG with a disinfecting wipe, and the screen no longer works.
Do you have a solution, please?
