What type of object's color do you want to make transparent?

If it's a cell in a table, ... you can simply leave it empty.
If it's on an image, you'll need to save it as a .png, because it's a format that supports transparency, unlike all other formats (at least a very large majority).

try entering the value "transparent" (that's the one from CSS). but I doubt it.

When I enter no value, it shows me white. And regarding the CSS, should I put "transparent" directly in the color box?

So actually I have a background image but I can't see it because the background color is white and not transparent. What I want to modify are the colors in general, meaning that I have a box where I enter a color starting with # for example white which is #ffffff

I finally found what you needed for your forumactif,

First, transparency on a computer translates to opacity, which can be adjusted to different levels. For example, 90% opacity means you can see a background image very faintly, while 10% opacity is the opposite—you can see the background image very well but not the text of the subject. My advice: set it to 75% opacity. IN SHORT

Here's how to proceed for your forum:

Go to the forum's control panel

then

Display ... color or color configuration

then

find "CSS Stylesheet"

then

in the box, put this:

body {

filter:alpha(opacity=75);
-moz-opacity:0.75; /* for Firefox browser
opacity: 0.75;

}

then validate

and there you go

After that, to change the color, just find "Inner color of the forum frame" in the color configuration and set your desired color, which will appear as a colored transparency.

I put a flash menu on my (future) site, it is set to wmode=transparent for the flash slideshow that takes the foreground.

Under this menu, each link is described, for example: Contact --> Contact us.

This description is written on a line with a color that can be modified. But only by a hex code. I would like to either be able to integrate an image in its place or make it transparent.

Bonjour, pour un forum, je souhaite une transparence en fond d'en-tête. On me propose dans les préférences administrateur des codes couleur à 7 caractères uniquement. Le code "#FFFFFF0" est donc trop long. Y a-t-il une solution ? Merci.

Use RGBa instead in your CSS

background-color: rgba(0, 0, 255, 0.5);

0.5 being the degree of transparency you want to assign (alpha value)

To make it invisible, simply replace 0.5 with 0; 1 corresponds to something completely opaque.
