read a .pub file Solved/Closed

Hello,  I have received very important files in .pub format. But I don't have Publisher.... Is there any free software that can read them?  Thank you for your help.

It’s almost a miracle to be able to do something with .PUB files!!!  And there we better understand the importance of open formats like OpenOffice.org or Scribus: not getting stuck with files that can only be opened with one piece of software (which often isn’t even sold anymore!)
