Hello,
Hello everyone, I would like to have some clarification on how the software limewire works. I'm trying to download movies but without success and since I'm a beginner, I don't really know how to go about it. Thank you in advance for your repliesConfiguration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 7.0

Hello,
in the search, you can read whatever type of document you want. If you select video, you can type in the film you are looking for. A list will then appear, and this list contains stars that indicate whether the film is of good quality or if there are many downloads and sources.
The best film to download will be placed directly at the top of the list.
However, LimeWire is not the appropriate program for movies, as there are too many films of... so be cautious with allusions.
See you!

Hello,
I just installed LimeWire on my computer (and I'm not very good with computers): after searching for what I wanted and downloading it until the file status was "complete", I can't find any of the downloaded files in my Documents. However, I made sure to specify where I wanted everything to be stored in Tools-Options-Saving Folders.
I hope you can respond to me
Thank you

Yes, indeed LimeWire is quite effective, but you have to be careful: once, thinking I had downloaded a movie (Star Wars, I believe), I ended up with something really shady... So you have to be cautious... And I can't figure out how to set it up so that I don't come across that kind of thing (for example by applying a filter). If someone could help me.
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.
I have a little problem with Limewire

And I also wanted to know how to put my downloaded music onto my desktop, for example???

Your music must be in the "Shared" folder (where they have been downloaded).
Go to the "Library" tab
On the left, go to "Shared" (under "Shared files")
Your music needs to be there. Select the music you want to listen to and click "to MP3 list".
They will go into the "Playlist" (in the box at the bottom).
Then, double-click on the music you want to listen to (it will be marked in green). If you want to skip to the next one, click on the other one or go to the bottom and click "next".
You can change tabs, minimize LimeWire, and the music will still play.
If you want to listen to music that you haven't downloaded, just put them in "Shared" and you're good to go.

what's the problem??? By the way, I'm not great with computers.... thanks a lot

Ah.......
Porn or horror movie?
To have a lower chance of running into that, avoid downloading the latest movies (for example: those that came out last week in theaters).
You can't configure that...
It's like with Emule or other software of that kind.
You have a lower chance with torrents and direct downloads of stumbling upon it.

Good evening,
I'm a beginner on LimeWire. I managed to download a movie. My problem when I watch it with VLC is that it stutters. It keeps jumping back to the beginning. I don't have the full movie. Can someone help me? I'm not very good with computers. Thank you.

Oh, are you watching it while it's still downloading?
You don't have the whole movie, so it's normal for it to do that.
When you download a movie, if it's at 50%, you won't be able to watch half of the movie normally, because it doesn't download the beginning first, then the middle, and then the end. It downloads part of the beginning, another part from the middle...
To see a small portion, it needs to be at least 75 or 80% (it depends on the movie).

Thank you for your response, Rick. I watched the movie when it was at 100%.
However, it's true that twice during the loading process, I displayed the "preview" function of LimeWire. Do you think that's what’s causing the mess in watching the movie?
If that's the case, do I need to re-download the movie and forget about the computer during the loading?

When you watch the movie that is at 100%, it hasn't finished downloading.
Wait until it says "complete."
When you click "Preview," it shows all the parts of the movie that you have already downloaded.
It doesn't mess up the viewing of the movie; you need to wait for the download to finish to watch the movie.
