Driver for ATA/ATAPI IDE???

Hello,
I had an analysis done of my entire system and drivers with a software. 90% are good. There's a 10% issue in: IDE ATA/ATAPI Controllers >>> VIA PCI Bus Master Controllers
I have a sound problem when playing my audio discs on my CD-ROM drive, and the issue seems to be there.......
They suggest a driver update. But they also suggest paying quite a lot!! :D
Is there anyone who can tell me what this really means (I don't understand much of the computer language) and where and which driver I need to download and also how to install it, the steps. I've been trying to fix this problem for months!!! Thank you for your help!
Configuration: Windows 98 Internet Explorer 6.0

You need to download the drivers for your hard drive. Go to the manufacturer's website for your HDD and download its drivers.

Thank you, but how will I know the name of the manufacturer of my hard drive? Where do I see the information? Should I go to a site like: Microsoft Windows 98??? Since that's my operating system? Do you know the site I should go to for drivers? Will I easily know the name of the drivers to download? Sorry, it's not easy all of this. Your help is appreciated Dante-33.

Hello kitty!!!
To get an overview of your hard drive brand, you need to download "EVEREST," which not only provides information about the hardware but also about the software. The program therefore indicates a wealth of information about the operating system, installed software, shared folders on the network, in addition to download site links, here’s the link:

Hope your problem gets resolved.
See you!
