I just bought a KIDIZOOM for my grandson for Christmas. The sound is barely audible through the headphones even when turned all the way up. However, the sound is pretty decent without using the headphones. Amazon.fr, where I purchased it, is redirecting me to VTECH?????

Maybe there is a dial to adjust the sound on the headphones, and if it's at minimum, no matter how much you turn up the sound on the "Kidizoom," it won't get any louder.

I bought one for my 6-year-old daughter.
As for the sound, I haven't tested it (no card!) / however, the image quality is very average, even clearly insufficient.
Most of the photos are blurry.
In your opinion, is this "normal" or due to a defect in the device?

My daughter also got a Kidizoom. In terms of image, it's average but sufficient for children's use; however, the same observation applies to the sound. It's impossible to adjust the volume using headphones. With them, the sound is very, very poor. Probably a design flaw. Not very clever for a device that plays MP3s...
