Idle

Solved

Hello everyone,

I am using Ashampoo WinOptimizer 4 on Windows Vista and when I check the "Process Manager", I see a folder icon named Idle using between 80 and 90% of my CPU... Under "Priority", it says N/A, under "Memory", it shows 19 KB, and under "Threads", it indicates 2.

I don't understand what this means. Can you help me decipher the message?

I would like to specify that my PC is an Intel Core 2 Duo at 2 GHz, Windows Vista Premium, 2 GB of RAM. It runs perfectly well despite these indications.

Thank you in advance for your help
Configuration: Windows Vista Internet Explorer 7.0

Hello,
basically idle means inactive. So your CPU is being used at 10 or 20%, which is very good!
