How to open .bkp extension

Hello,
I would like to modify the firmware of my mobile (a CECT P168 made in Japan) but the problem is that I don't know which software to use to exploit its .bkp firmware
So if anyone has a solution to suggest, I look forward to their response

""*.bkp" is an extension often used by backup programs (hence "*.bkp"), but that doesn't mean that any certain program can read it. You need to have the program that created this backup in order to read it."
